Telesales Executive – Conferences, Events & Exhibitions

With its head office located within a few minutes’ walk of Chelmsford Railway and Town Centre, Netlaw Media is undergoing rapid plans of expansion and is now seeking a pro-active ‘Outbound Telesales Executive’ to join our fast growing, yet highly ambitious organisation.

Our ideal applicant will have a minimum of 2 years outbound telesales experience, be resilient, driven and highly motivated. You will be a professional, yet effective communicator and be able to build great rapport with our existing and prospective clients whilst utilising our internal database to produce highly successful results.

With ongoing training and guidance provided, this role will offer the successful applicant a progressive career with a company that is renowned as a leader within the legal events market, however to be successful in this role, knowledge of the legal sector is not required.

A part of your new role will be representing the company at major events throughout the year and you will be required to stay overnight at leading hotels. In addition, Netlaw Media does look to promote from within, so career progression including team leadership roles could be offered to a standout executive who leads from example.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A min of 2 years outbound telesales experience working in a B2B environment (experience must be current or recent)
  • A high level of drive and purpose whilst being committed, hardworking, ambitious and motivated
  • The ability to conduct yourself as highly professional whilst displaying a confident telephone manner
  • The ability to demonstrate strong organisational skills including a good understanding of Microsoft packages such as word, outlook etc
  • Experience working with a CRM system would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite
  • Due to the level of our clients, the successful applicant will need an excellent command of English both written and verbal.

This role is offering a base salary between £17,000 – £19,000 + commission which could easily see the successful candidate surpassing £25,000 OTE in the first year.

Sponsorship Sales Executive – Events & Exhibitions

Expected Year 1 OTEUp to £50,000 (OTE)

Netlaw Media is an established UK based legal information, education & training organisation incorporated to deliver world-class law events, conferences, training programs & on-line media to the UK, European and Global legal sectors.

With a record of selling out its last sixteen major law events, Netlaw Media specialises in producing highly informative conferences, events, exhibitions and training programs delivered by renowned UK, European and Internationally acclaimed speakers from the legal and commercial worlds such as; Sir Tim Berners-Lee (Inventor of the World Wide Web), Dr. Michio Kaku, Randi Zuckerberg (ex-Facebook), Christian Horner OBE (Team Principal at Red Bull Racing), James Caan (Dragons Den), Lord Digby Jones of Birmingham and leading inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil to name a few.

With the company producing some of the biggest events in Europe, we are now looking to appoint an experienced Sponsorship Sales Executive to work from our Head Office in Chelmsford, Essex.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ proven experience within sponsorship sales and have a very good understanding of events within the professional service sector.

The successful candidate will be working across the companies key events portfolio were you will not only maintain a high level of account management, but you will also be responsible for developing new clients for a wide range of law related events and exhibitions.

Requirements & Responsibilities include;

  • A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience exceeding targets within sponsorship sales
  • Strong command of the legal market or professional service market or solid experience with on-boarding blue chips. (This could mean that you have solid experience selling sponsorship packages to the legal, accountancy, finance or management sectors).
  • Researching, attracting, closing, retaining and managing new accounts
  • Managing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, leading organisations and partners
  • Building a pipeline whilst surpassing all set sales targets for each month / event
  • The ability to be self-starting and to work without supervision
  • A very confident phone manner, strong negotiation skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to be proactive, resilient and confident when dealing with clients at a senior level. You will need to have excellent time management skills, be motivated by achieving and exceeding targets and have an excellent command of English both written and verbal.

There is a generous base salary of up to £26,000 + commission which could easily see the successful candidate surpassing £50,000 OTE in the first year.

Senior Conference Producer – Large Events

Salary: £28,000 – £36,000

Reporting directly to the CEO and Managing Director and supported by a senior events operations executive and events operations assistant, Netlaw Media is currently seeking to hire an experienced conference producer (with experience producing large conferences within legal and / or professional services) to produce a range of new and existing conferences and exhibitions for the UK legal sector.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have;

  • A minimum of 5 years producing large conferences and / or exhibitions within legal or professional services.
  • A good understanding of the mechanics behind large events and exhibitions and how successful events are produced and staged.
  • A proven ability to identify, develop and roll out financially successful events from conception to completion.
  • The ability to manage all aspects of conference production including (but not limited to) pre-event planning, event programming, content selection, speaker acquisition, speaker relations, delegate attraction, event marketing, on-site management, post-event evaluation and reporting.
  • Complete end to end management of conferences including: full management of venues, facilities, suppliers, registration, delegates, AV & technical, transportation, exhibition & signage, stage set / design, crisis planning, health & safety, security and risk assessment.
  • A proven record of researching, attracting and contracting speakers and suppliers.
  • Strong experience supporting and working alongside sales and marketing teams.
  • Setting & maintaining conference budgets as well as sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with venues, suppliers and external vendors to achieve the highest standard of excellence and cost efficiencies.
  • A proven ability to manage and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of the legal and / or professional sectors as well as the ability to conduct in-depth research whilst keeping up to date with changes within the sector.
  • A clear understanding of all conference & exhibition risk, health & safety, hospitality guidelines, compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven on-site conference management skills including organising staff, greeting speakers, running a multiple stage programme to a set schedule.
  • The ability to be self-starting and to work without supervision.
  • A confident phone manner, strong skills of persuasion and negotiation.
  • The ability to think outside the circle and to bring new and exciting ideas to the table.

This role will be based from our head office in Chelmsford and will offer the right candidate both the opportunity to produce existing conferences whilst developing a range of new conferences within the legal sector. You will need to be proactive, resilient and extremely confident when dealing with clients at all levels.

You will need to have excellent time management skills, be motivated by achieving and exceeding targets and have an excellent command of English both written and verbal.

The basic salary for candidates with at least 5 years relevant experience will range from £28,000 – £36,000 p.a
