This session will evaluate the changing needs of clients, simplifying the implementation of security procedures for M&A transactions, data flow and governance. Speakers will share insights into the convergence of technology and the accelerating needs of businesses, whilst delving into the reality of securing virtual spaces and the ongoing protection of firms data in the cloud.

Lisa Forte, Winner of the Top 100 Women In Tech Award and partner at Red Goat Cyber Security will be running this fun and entertaining masterclass.

Lisa actually gained her LLB and LLM before moving into cyber security. She knows the challenges the legal sector face well. Lisa worked for one of the UK Police Cyber Crime Units. Lisa left in 2017 to start her own company, Red Goat Cyber Security LLP. Red Goat provide NCSC certified cyber security training for lawyers and staff as well as helping organisations prepare for a cyber-attack through the use of wargaming.

Lisa has run a wealth of cyber attack exercises for CNI, ports, hospitals, banks and many other organisations around the world. She has gained a reputation for creating highly immersive cyber attack exercises to put crisis management teams to the test. Lisa firmly believes in rehearsing for any disruptive event and exercises give teams a “safe place to make mistakes”.

Lisa is a highly sought after professional speaker and has been featured in documentary films, frequently commenting in news reports and co-founded the Cyber Volunteers 19 group who provided pro-bono support to hospitals around Europe during the pandemic.

With over 20 years IT experience, Razvan has a proven track record in delivering innovative and effective IT solutions that enable business transformation through IT. Razvan has a strong technical background acquired while working in various industries like education, telecom, travel, marketing research and ultimately legal. His expertise in enterprise architecture, datacentre consolidation and systems integration provide him with a unique perspective of the enterprise IT landscape. With the help of his team, Razvan designed and delivered a workplace experience unprecedented in the Legal sector promoting a mobile-first environment while preserving the security and confidentiality required by their profession.

He was the technical authority for CMS London headquarters move to a unique office space above Cannon Street station that was deemed by BCO to be the ‘Best Fit out of Workplace 2016’. He was also ultimately responsible for all the technology related aspects in the largest UK merger of three legal firms who combined into the new CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP entity.
