3. Secure and flexible working is the future – What does the future of the legal workplace and secure legal service delivery look like? and what are the practical considerations for changing culture and operations?

Julian David is the CEO of techUK the Digital Technology Trade Association. Julian leads techUK’s 60 strong team in representing 850 member companies, comprising Global and National Champions and more than 500 SMEs. He is a member of the UK Government and Industry Cyber Growth Partnership, the Digital Economy Council and the Department of International Trade’s Strategic Trade Advisory Group.
He is also the Vice President for National Trade Associations on the Executive Board of DIGITALEUROPE and Vice President representing Europe on the board of WITSA the Worldwide IT Association. He is also a Member of the Board of the Health innovation Network, the South London Academic Health Science Network.

Matt Warman was appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport on 26 July 2019.He was an Assistant Government Whip from 23 April 2019 to 25 July 2019.

Mark Parr, Global Director of Information Technology,

Mark has a strong pedigree of delivering information systems and technology across the globe, for a vast range of organisations. Mark begin his career as a Technology apprentice within the British Army, and built a successful 27 year military career delivering command and control networks, technology solutions and communications and information systems in support of military, peace keeping and stabilisation operations globally.
Post his military career, Mark went on to join KPMG UK LLP in 2016, initially undertaking a People Operations role. It was during this time that Mark quickly established himself as a subject matter expert in Risk Management, Cyber Security and Information Assurance leading to him being appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Information Assurance across the UK. In this role, Mark delivered various certification standards as well as lead the migration to Office 365.
Mark joins HFW as the Global Director of IT; a role that he is sees as being challenging but one that will allow him to demonstrate his wide portfolio of skills and expertise.
Charlotte Baldwin, Chief Digital and Technology Officer

Charlotte is currently the Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, with accountability for Technology delivery across the firm, as well as driving the digital agenda and innovation through the use of Technology. With over 20 years’ experience, she has been focused on Digital Transformation and delivering complex Technology enabled Business Change for much of her career.
She has held various Technology leadership roles within FTSE 100 companies including, most recently, at Pearson, where she was CTO Core Business, then SVP of Technology and Operations Strategy & Portfolio. She has also worked at Deloitte, Linklaters, and Thomson Reuters during her career.
Paul Morrison

Paul Morrison has over 15 years of experience in the collaboration space, where he has been responsible for the EMEA Voice and UC Product Roadmap development at Level 3 Communications and CenturyLink, overseeing the launch of new products into the EMEA market, as well as managing the lifecycles of the legacy platforms, ensuring quality of service for customers and a migration strategy moving forwards.
Paul has extensive experience working with enterprise and government clients across their collaboration journey, and he bring a creative approach and the ability to solve complex business challenges that solve technical problems whilst at the same time achieve the optimum commercial, and financial solution.
