Mike Osborne – Executive Chairman, Databarracks
Mike Osborne has a 30 year career in IT & Risk most recently as the Managing Director of Business Continuity, Cloud & Hosting at UK Company Daisy Group Ltd. During this time Mike was responsible for growing a fledgling Disaster Recovery company into one of the UK’s leading providers of IT & Work area solutions under the TEAM, ICM & Phoenix brands with revenues exceeding £50million pa and supporting over 2,000 clients from SME’s to Global brands. As inaugural Chair of the Recovery Site Providers Group, Director of Scottish Continuity Group and Honorary Member of the Business Continuity Institute, Mike has been at the heart of the UK Business Continuity Profession as it has grown from Niche to Mainstream. A well-known and respected industry figure and commentator, Mike is recipient of industry Lifetime Achievement & Personality of the Year Awards and a Regional Finalist in the IOD Director Awards.
Matthew Newton – Operations Director, Oosha
Matthew is Operations Director and co-founder of Oosha Ltd, a leading cloud desktop and managed IT service provider for the legal sector. Matthew regularly advises law firms on the most effective IT strategies to help them modernise, stay compliant and manage external threats. He is a frequent speaker at legal events across the UK and a leading voice on subjects such as GDPR, cyber crime, cloud and technology.
Matthew has spent over 20 years working in the technology field, helping multiple professional services firms devise and implement effective IT solutions. He is passionate about ensuring law firms make the most of the latest technology, while avoiding complexity and minimising risk.
