02 November 2018 – Consultation on Proposed Internal Governance Rules
The consultation closes at 5pm on Monday 21 January 2019.
Following publication of our consultation on proposed Internal Governance Rules (IGR), we were approached by some approved regulators and regulatory bodies to request meetings to discuss the consultation. As a result, we held two open sessions for anyone interested in discussing the consultation with the IGR team. The purpose of these meetings was to provide clarification regarding the paper and its annexes in order to assist attendees in responding to the consultation. A separate session was also held with the ACCA and ICAEW who share a distinct interest in the particular issues which might arise as a result of our proposal to remove the Applicable Approved Regulator definition.
Details of the sessions are given below:
4 December 2018 | 12.00-13.00 | Open session |
11 December 2018 | 12.30-13.30 | Open session |
13 December 2018 | 11.30-12.30 | ACCA and ICAEW only |
The PowerPoint presentation that was provided can be found here and a combined record of the meetings can be found here.
